Vuma Hills Tented Camp is perched above the trees stretching over the seemingly endless wilderness south west of Mikumi National Park.
Nestled in the forests of the Vuma Mountains that overlook the Mkata Plains of the Mikumi below, Vuma is a cool retreat from the heat of a day's game drive.

One of the marvels of Vuma Hills is the wildlife that roams around camp, meaning your safari does not end after a game drive. For safety, Maasai guides take our guests on short walking safaris between their rooms and other camp areas.

FEATURES

Tents - The sixteen tents are comfortably furnished, so sleeping under canvas at Vuma is a far cry from the discomfort usually associated with camps. Complete with shaded wooden veranda at the front and en suite bathroom facilities at the back there is not much more to be asked for

Solar Water Heaters have been installed for each room which uses the natural energy of the sun to provide you with hot running water. Water temperature might fluctuate, but being near the equator with intense solar energy, this is not common.

Dining and Bar - The cosy bar area centres around a roaring log fire, opening onto a large decking area from where you can take in the setting sun over the Mkata plains below. Under the same thatch, the dining area enjoys widespread views through the lush trees, and overlooking the swimming pool.
